We schedule Annual Off-Line Gatherings which are held at various cities in the USA. If you don't see your state on the list, get it on there by joining us. In the past we have gathered off line in California, Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Michigan, Nevada, Delaware, Tennesee, & Nevada. Our 2009 Gathering is being planned for the summer in California.

Our first Gathering at Branson, Missouri
ONLINE SINGLE SENIORS OUTREACH began with a group of singles posting in the AOL SeniorNet forum, "Singles For Fun." It was the singles "cafe" where people came in nightly leaving posts to each other, playing imaginary juke boxes, flirting a bit, and having imagined parties, cruises, and other fun activities. The rule was we would stick to fun topics and postings. NO "Organ Recitals" nor "spouse bashing"; all our troubles were left outside. Some would post for a while and then they would disapear from sight. One of our gentlemen suggested that we should form a club, share information about ourselves through bios and thus keep together. At his suggestion Margielyn designed a bio form and invited those posting to fill it out and e-mail it to her. She put together the information and e-mailed it to those who sent in their bios. To be a member one must have a bio listed.
After reviewing several names for our group, Online Single Seniors' Outlet was created.(Later changed to Online Singles Seniors' Outreach.) The first Newsletter was sent out on February of 1997. The word spread and in six months we had over 100 members.
We no longer are on AOL but we meet on our "Home on the Web" a private site for members only where we post and chat and share jokes, recipes, book reviews and photos. All are welcome. There is no cost but you will have to rejoin in Feburary of each year. This year we have over 130 members; many have been with us since our early years. We hope you will join us.
